Floyd Hall purchased a lot on Hall’s Lake for $2.00 per foot. Every weekend and on holidays the Hall family would travel up to their lot and enjoy the beautiful Highlands.
In 1953, after 30 years of working for insurance companies, Floyd began his new career in the Insurance Brokerage business and it has grown steadily ever since.
In 1963 Don joined his father in the business and a year later they established a satellite office in Haliburton. In 1988 his grandson Glenn joined the firm.
In 1999 Floyd Hall Limited purchased Frost Insurance in Haliburton and they now operate two fully staffed offices in the Haliburton Highlands. Today the business is operated by Glenn Hall, the president of the company.
